| Description of the problem | 2001 tacoma, took in for an oil change and they couldn't lift the truck. The frame was rusted through on both sides. Going on line it appears this is a common problem with toyota tacoma's. Toyota needs to address this. Fortunately i was not in an accident or towing anything as the frame is totally gone and unsafe to drive. Doesn't look like anyone is having any luck with toyota addressing the problem. Sad that someone may have to die in an accident before they will step up. |
