| Description of the problem | Purchased my sienna in february, 2019 with 41k miles. Days after purchase, i brought a noise to the dealerships attention and was told it was road noise. Fast forward to june, 2019 and the noise is worse. My driver's side strut is blown at 44k miles. Finding a replacement has been a hassle. This part is obviously a manufacturer defect and should be covered by toyota for replacement. Currently waiting and hoping the backordered struts ship to me so i can get it replaced. Also, dealership recommended replacing one strut. Common sense dictates that you always replace struts in pairs, otherwise you will drive a lopsided vehicle and cause more trouble down the road. |
