Description of the problem	Our daughter-in-law received an interim recall notice from toyota yesterday. (safety recall g04). Apparently there is a possibility that the sliding door on the siena can come open while the van is in motion endangering the occupants. In this case, the occupants are our four year grandson, who has down syndrome, and three year old granddaughter. Toyota has declined to disclose whether there have been any accidents, injuries or deaths due to this defect. They are working on a fix but do not have a solution. Toyota's recommendation is to disengage the electronic doors. We viewed that additional cost option as a safety and convenience factor for our daughter-in-law. Surely, a company with the resources of toyota could come up with a fix concurrently with this notice! Minivans are generally driven by families with children.
