| Description of the problem | Went to car parked for three days - sunroof shattered outward. 4/7/17 not the first time - on. 8/25/14 it shattered while driving (7978 mileage)- a loud explosion and no other cars in sight. Also exploded outward. Opened a case with toyota relations who asked we bring to dealerships for review. First time technician blamed on object hitting us from road - toyota paid for replacement as good will gesture. Now technician say someone punched it from below with cover closed - have pics below. Also stated had to be broken from within - basically accused us of punching it. After the first time we keep cover closed and never use it for fear it would happen again. |
