| Description of the problem | This is a follow up to an earlier complaint regarding the sliding doors on my 2014 toyota sienna not closing. Their was a recall and warranty extensions issued. I had the recall issue addressed, which did not fix the problem, so after several months i was finally able to get the local toyota dealer to take care of the warranty extensions addressed, and still not fixed. I was then told that until i get the hinges on these doors replaced the problem will continue. So, after all that, i am told that the hinges are the problem! The warranty coverage program i purchased does not cover the hinges (i purchased one of the best warranties) and the hinges are going to cost me $758. Shouldn't their be a recall on the hinges to address this problem? I sure am hoping so. |
