Description of the problem | The rear window on the hatchback door blew out. The vehicle was parked in the garage overnight - the next morning it was shattered. I contacted the dealer to find out if this was a common problem - i was told no. However upon performing a google search i found hundreds of instances of people complaining of the same issue. It was also interesting to note that the rear windows were/are on national backorder from toyota. The window installed in my van was apparently a "take off" from another vehicle. I am highly concerned that this issue will occur again, possibly next time while driving or with my children in the vehicle. |
