Description of the problem | Takata recall. Recall g0p serviced by servco toyota (this is not a complaint against servco; they did great work) 30 aug 2018 (receipt in hand). I am getting ready to ship my vehicle and the shipper needs the safercar printout (showing 0 recalls) which still reflects an open recall. Just spoke with the toyota service desk and was told that it can take a year for the data to appear in the system. It will be a year in three days (30 aug 2019). If they just started the upload process today, i cannot ship my van in the next two weeks. How can i get this update expedited? How can i get my vin cleared? |
