| Description of the problem | Takata recall. Our minivan is recalled. Bold letters indicate we "do not operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat". Toyota has no known remedy date. We need a minivan to accommodate our large family and car seats. Toyota will only offer us a toyota corolla while we wait indefinitely for our airbag to be fixed. This is unacceptable. I have spent hours talking with toyota. We purchased a minivan because we need a minivan. Now because of the takata recall, they refuse to put us in a minivan rental. How can this possibly be allowed? Our minivan is basically useless to us for a period that could be years! I don't know where else to turn for guidance, as our concerns fall on deaf ears at toyota. Very frustrating! |
