| Description of the problem | Cables for both powered sliding side doors broke within 2 month period. Passenger side door cannot be opened. Driver door can be opened and closed manually. Wrote letter to toyota, after getting estimate of $1,600 per door to fix, asking for some sort of help. Same problem on older models was covered under recall. Up to 2009 models. Toyota declined any type of help. Offered $750 off new vehicle. This is a safety hazard when transporting grandchildren. |
