| Description of the problem | Takata recall on my 2011 toyota sienna. I purchased the van new in pharr texas which is at the southern tip of texas, ten minutes from the mexico boarder. The climate here is hot with normally high humidity. It is my understanding i should have been contacted by toyota and at the very least be on a waiting list for parts to address the recall. When i approach the dealership i'm told; "nothing can be done, we are waiting on parts." no one writes anything down, no one shows me that there is a list and that i'm on that list. Nothing seems to be happening to address the issue. I keep my van garaged and in like new condition. It has very low mileage and i plan to keep it for at least another five years. I need help in getting this safety recall addressed in a timely manner. Thank you! |
