Description of the problem	9/2/2016 vehicle was driven for about 1 hour without any road incident, parked in a shady location for about an hour and a half during which time a spontaneous crack, more than a foot long that not caused by an impact or any damage, appeared in the windshield on the driver's side. Toyota was notified and they refused to remedy the situation because of the age of the vehicle. However, the spontaneous cracking of a windshield seems to me to be a safety hazard just as much as exploding airbags, faulty shift levers, and spare tire holders that fall off and constitutes a pattern of disregard for safety on the part of toyota. This is not the first faulty windshield i have encountered with a toyota vehicle; previously i had a corolla that developed blisters between the layers of glass, also not the result of a road incident. However, they replaced that windshield when the vehicle was more than ten years old because it was a safety hazard.
