| Description of the problem | 2007 toyota sienna - excessive tire wear. I have 83,000 miles on my sienna. During that time, i have had to replace tires 5 times which averages about 17,000 miles per set of tires. I have voice my complaint to the local dealer and toyota corp and have been told that there is no solution to this problem. The local toyota service department stated this is common with sienna's and that they rarely see a vehicle with more than 20,000 miles on a set of tires. The tires will start to 'cup' at 10,000 miles regardless of frequency of rotation. The tire's wear rapidly on the inside tread wall and require very close monitoring. I have used top line models of tires like bridgeston, michelin and dunlop all with the same result. |
