| Description of the problem | Flashing airbag light in 2007 sienna with ~49k miles. Dealer suggested replace floor wire and air bag assembly - $3500 total. Not under warranty; error code b0116. Many similar complaints found on the internet for 06/07 siennas. Cannot believe that toyota does not stand behind its airbags more than the basic warranty when safely equipment failed less than 50k miles. The repair cost is too high which is a result of bad design. Safety equipment failure should be responsible by manufacture, especially the mileage is less than 50k. Have owned numerous vehicles with no airbag problems ever. |
