| Description of the problem | Flashing airbag light in 2007 sienna with ~90k miles. Dealer states front passenger airbag sensor failure - $700 to replace. Not under warranty; error code b0111. Many similar complaints found on the internet for 06/07 siennas. Opted not to replace sensor due to concerns about it failing again. Cannot believe that toyota does not stand behind its airbags more than the basic warranty. Have owned numerous vehicles (94 acura for 7 yrs; 96 mazda for 7 yrs; 01 bmw for 8 yrs; 03 acura for 9 yrs) with no airbag problems ever. No one in my or my wife's family has ever had an airbag problem similar to this. |
