| Description of the problem | Severe corrosion on alloy wheels allows air to leak from tires. This results is almost constant low tire pressure, undue wear on tires, and safety issue. Issue began when the vehicle had only 14000 miles. Dealer refinished two wheels under warranty but refused to redo the other wheels or the same wheels when they quickly corroded again. Ongoing issue vehicle now has 66000 miles. In my opinion wheels need to be replaced with ones made from a different material --- aftermarket wheels do not seem to be available for this vehicle (awd). |
