Description of the problem	No accident or fatalities, but i am concerned about the rapidly deteriorating condition of all four 17" alloy wheels (painted aluminum). Corrosion is progressing since the time i first noticed it starting (approximate incident date). Current mileage is 74,000. The paint is blistering starting at the inside edge of each wheel opening. It is quite severe and i am concerned that if this is not addressed, the corrosion might propagate a crack in one of the wheel spokes. I have another car with more than twice the mileage with similarly painted wheels with no corrosion after 36 years. This vehicle has seen three times the number of winters with salted roads. My 1986 porsche 944 wasn't washed in the winter any more frequently than the toyota. It appears this problem with toyota is so prevalent that they prefer disgruntled customers over responsibly addressing this problem.
