Description of the problem	I was sent a recall notice by toyota, indicating that the "spare tire assembly may corrode and detach". I took my vehicle to the dealer on december 19, 2014, and they removed the spare tire and placed it in the vehicle in a plastic bag. They did not fix it properly. The spare tire is now occupying a lot of space that i need for cargo. They told me i would receive a letter when the proper remedy was available. I called toyota this morning (may 21, 2015) after waiting five months for the letter. The toyota representative that i spoke with said that the parts would become available for the remedy "in the middle of this year" but she could not even give me the month in which this would happen. I think it is too much to have to carry my spare tire around in my cargo space for several months. Toyota should have been able to solve this problem faster. This is not the vehicle's drive train. This is a metal hanger for a spare tire, it shouldn't be that difficult.
