Description of the problem	Power rear liftgate struts have failed. They were originally replaced under the 2008 recall (they weren't defective at the time); however they have now failed. The door closes hard on you if you are not ready for it and it's not easy to prop it open or keep it open without potentially injuring yourself. There is no way to disengage or otherwise prop open the door manually.
