| Description of the problem | My 2006 toyota sienna right rear power sliding door would not close. It rolled almost shut, then opened again. The cable that pulls the door shut was loose along the track and i noticed it seemed to be frayed. I had my 3 children in the car and it was raining. I had to forcefully pull the door closed and still could not get it closed because the cable was keeping it from closing. I was forced to get pliers and cut the cable so i could keep my children safe and drive back home with the door closed. The car has just over 60,000 miles on it. Now i have removed the cable and use the door as a manual door because the cost to replace it is too high. This is unacceptable. |
