| Description of the problem | 2006 toyota sienna. Consumer writes in regards to drivers side door issues. *smd the consumer stated several weeks ago, the driver's side door started making a popping noise when it was opened and closed. The consumer did some research, and discovered the issue was due to poor engineering on the door weld, that could not stand the stress of opening and closing. The consumer called toyota customer care and was reassured they would be able help him. They indicated, they were aware of the issue. After several phone calls and driving around to get various estimated, toyota decided they were not going to assist the consumer. The problem has since worsened and now requires a complete door replacement. |
