| Description of the problem | While driving in a residential area, going 5-10 mph, the anti-lock brake light came on flashing and beeping loudly. The steering system locked up and lasted 45 seconds to 1 minute. It would occur on a highway as well, no reason, ground completely dry. It would occur driving into the pa turnpike toll booth, rounding corners, going straight on 65 mph highway, (it occurred intermittently 60-70 times). The dealer (north hills toyota 7401 mcknight road, pittsburgh, pa 15237 412-318-3000 were unable to fix it after i took it in twice. The last time, they disconnected the antilock brake system to fix the problem. I currently am driving with the system unconnected. *js |
