Description of the problem	Last sunday as we were leaving for church my seven year old daughter sat in her safety car seat, reached for her seat belt and pulled it across her chest to fasten it. As she did so, it snapped in half. As a parent, i watched the incident in horror. I am so very grateful that we weren't in an accident where her life depended on the security of her belt. It appears as though somehow it was rubbed raw from the plastic hole it came out of in the vehicle. I hope this is a one time defect and not indicative of a larger problem. Seat belts save lives, but only if they work properly.
