| Description of the problem | The air bag warning light on a 2006 toyota sienna came on around 60,000 miles in 2008. The local toyota dealer reset the warning light, and it was fine for a while. Since that first time, the warning light was come on a minimum of 5 more times and each time the dealer has reset it. In the last two years, the warning light has been on 100% of the time. Dealer said once that the whole air bag system would need to be replaced. All other times, dealer has said air bag system is okay, it is just a problem with the connection. Toyota is not fixing this problem. Is it going to take someone dieing to get this problem fixed? I guarantee no executive at toyota would drive his/her family in a vehicle with the air bag warning light on. |
