| Description of the problem | Airbag warning light came up 1 year (5/18/07) after purchase of vehicle. Dealer claims that they cannot find any issues and resets the warning light. 1 year later (6/9/09), the airbag warning light is up once again. This time they replace the passenger side airbag and perform repairs as per tsb. Airbag warning light up once again 10 months later (4/1/11). Dealer claims that there is no code up and just resets the light. 1 year later, the airbag warning light is up once again (8/18/12) and the dealer will not fix because too much time has gone by since the alleged fix in 2009. Airbag remains lit as of today (12/7/12). This should be a recall as the airbag warning light should not be coming up this often and is a very expensive repair to replace airbags. |
