Description of the problem	2006 toyota sienna had flashing airbag light on dash in 2009 at 48k miles. Bad sensor was discovered by toyota dealer service dept and repaired under warranty. 2 years later and 88k miles, airbag light flashing again and toyota dealer service dept diagnoses an "open circuit" and cause being a faulty wiring harness for the airbag system. Estimated cost $1800 since vehicle is 6 months past warranty. I contacted toyota for possible appeal to cover cost of repair of safety system. Have not heard back from toyota if they will cover the cost of the repair.
