| Description of the problem | Toyota has an on-going issue with airbag/srs wiring harnesses that fail. When the wiring harness fails it disables the entire srs system. The occupant is then at risk in a collision. This condition initiated on its own and is not the result of a collision. The local toyota dealer relayed that it is a common occurrence and would cost over $2000 dollars to repair. It shows up on the obdii diagnostic as a right-side airbag squib. This code is as follows; b0106 code open in p squib circuit. |
