| Description of the problem | The spare tire from our 2005 toyota sienna fell off and was lost due to the identifed defect in the spare tire carrier cable. The spare tire fell off after the defect had been identified through a recall notice from toyota, but before toyota had a remedy for the defect. When a remedy was identified, we brought the car to the dealer for the fix but they refused to replace the already lost spare tire. Toyota should be responsible for replacing our spare tire due to this identified defect. |
