Description of the problem	Cable on spare tire carrier under vehicle broke and fortunately spare tire appeared to have bounced away form vehicle and in to lava field. Could have been so much worse. Local dealership stated they have no information regarding a recall on the spare tire carrier. However, i see it reflected on line. I have a broken spare tire carrier and cannot locate the spare anywhere if the field. Toyota usa states to contact servco but they are of no help.
