| Description of the problem | Driver door mounting panel weld broke and now is causing a popping noise when opening and closing the driver side door. Toyota sent out an enhancement warranty notice on june 18, 2012 knowing full well that the vehicle prescribed warranty had expired and refused to fix the problem. What is the point of notifying owners about the defect when they refuse to fix the problem. Toyota need to be compelled to issue a recall rather than just notification since other owners are also experiencing the same problem. *jb |
