Description of the problem	The rear tailgate/hatch has failed and closes on the person underneath. I took it to toyota because i had heard of a recall, but they have informed me that the recall only involved struts/pistons on the automatic doors - what about the manually operated tailgate/hatch on these vehicles? Luckily the person that got hit by the hatch was not seriously injured. Both struts/pistons have failed and toyota wants $360. 00 to repair it. Can you advise of any other reports have been filed?
