| Description of the problem | Our 2005 toyota sienna has had recurring problems with the rear doors becoming inoperative. During the lease period it was brought to the dealer who diagnosed that it "needed a little grease". We continued to live with the manual door requiring several tries to open, finally paying out of pocket for a repair. Now the handle had broken off, and the cable for the automatic door has broken. There is now no way to open either door, leaving our children in the back with no direct route to exit the vehicle should something happen. We have spent a few thousand dollars already on these doors and cannot continue to pay for them. |
