| Description of the problem | I have 2005 toyota sienna which its driver side door started making a popping noise from sept-7-2010. I searched the forums about this issue and found this door welding came off and the door may fall off any time. I talked to toyota and they said i am out of warranty by few days. My sienna has 31k mileage. I found from forums the only solution is to change the entire door. I talked to toyota again they agreed to weld it for 50% of cost. Rest of the 50% i need to pay. I did not receive any recall notice regarding this door latching/popping issue from toyota. |
