| Description of the problem | The cable that is used to open and shut the automatic sliding doors of 2005 toyota sienna started to corrode and eventually snapped at about 40,000 miles. We removed the broken cable and open and shut the door manually. The cable on the other side of the van is experiencing the same corrosion and i am expecting it to fray and snap too. I checked in to fixing the problem and was quoted $1500 per door. |
