Description of the problem	Our 2005 toyota sienna le, with approx 59, 000, has a malfunctioning power sliding passenger door on the right side that we've been told is "worn out" despite it's age and average usage (2 kids, ages 12 and 14). We bought this car new and have maintained it regularly through the dealership. Since early dec. Of 09 this door has either not closed completely, suddenly opening instead of latching as expected, or when opened will close on it's on without guarding, potentially injuring the person entering the car. We have been forced to use the door manually for safety reasons and, as it's now out of alignment, this is difficult to do. Toyota has given us an estimate of up to $3000 for repair. The door malfunctions every time we use it. Currently we are not using it and are waiting to see if a recall will be issued as we see a number of concerns with sienna doors based on a web search.
