| Description of the problem | The rear passenger sliding door will not open either manually or automatically. I took it to the dealership and was told that the automatic latch mechanism was broken and when that failed and you try to open the door manually with the handle it breaks the door latch as well so now door won't open either manually or automatically. This seems like a quite a design/engineering flaw. If the automatic opening mechanism fails and the only other way to open the door then causes the manual latch to break leaves you without the use of the door at all. |
