Description of the problem	2005 toyota sienna le this vehicle has one electric sliding door, on the passenger side. This electric door has failed, and is stuck in the closed position. Dealer has said that the vehicle needs a new latch assembly and cables. We have had some type of problem with this door since we purchased it, including prior incidents where the door was inoperable. These previous fixes occurred when the car was under warranty, which it is no longer under. In each case, the dealer made an adjustment to get the door to work, but at no time changed any parts. Dealer informed me that toyota is willing to provide the parts (lock assembly 146. 35 and control 693. 04) but that we will need to pay labor of 660.
