| Description of the problem | The right side (passenger) headlight went out. Replacement of the light bulb (which was a whopping 190. 00) did not solve the problem. Was told that it is a special type of hid light which has a headlamp control module aka ballast aka computer that could be bad. Dealer quoted $600 to fix a headlight. My other repair shop quoted $450. Really toyota? $450-600 to fix a headlight???? Ridiculous. No one should have to pay this much to fix a headlight. Who engineered this? Beyond frustrated. |
