| Description of the problem | Our 2005 toyota sienna has had multiple problems with the power sliding doors. Originally, the driver's side door stopped closing automatically. When button was pushed to close the door by all methods, on remote control, on driver's head panel or on panel next to sliding door, the door would begin to close then slide back open without warning or without us doing anything to open it back up. Our local dealer fixed this original problem as it was under warranty, but now the passenger side power sliding door has the same problem but we are out of warranty and the cost is too exuberant for us to have it fixed. This appears to be a problem for many toyota sienna owners and can possibly be a danger. *js |
