| Description of the problem | I bought a 2004 toyota sienna van, put a hitch on it and it scrapes the ground going over speed bumps, steep driveways, etc without any load on the hitch mount. The vehicle should be equipped with air shocks if toyota wants to advertise that the van can tow trailers. This is a design flaw due to the trunk space required for stowing the rear folding seats. A hitch can not be mounted any higher or closer to the bumper because of the seat storage area. *jb |
