| Description of the problem | My wife has brand new firestone firehawk st tires put on her toyota sienna van on april 15 2008 and on may 2, 2008 while driving down the interstate her tire came apart. The tread separated from the sidewalls (which were still on the rim) and went flying off still completely round . Luckily it was a rear tire and she was able to control her vehicle and bring it to a safe stop. The tires were installed at the toyota dealership and they replaced all four tires because we didn't feel safe with this brand. We did have to replace the rim on the blown tire as it became bent sometime during the ordeal. |
