Description of the problem	Out of the blue our tailgate no longer stays up. The trunk struts need replacing according to the dealer. Our five year old told us of this problem when he was trying to get something out of the back. Luckily he was not injured. We are going to get the problem fixed. I've read online that an investigation through you has been going on since dec. 2006. I'm concerned that we had never been told this is a potential problem in a relatively new car. I've read of other close calls for injuries and am surprised that there have been none considering the weight of the tailgate and the force with which it closes.
