| Description of the problem | Our local toyota dealer replaced the lift gate struts due to a recall even though the original struts were fine. After the replacement, the new struts do not work properly during warm weather. The lift gate will partially go down and then the lift gate jerks back up and does not close. The dealer was contacted about this problem and the car was taken back in. Dealer said they "didn't know what to do" and would contact toyota and call us back. They never did. |
