| Description of the problem | The car has a power liftgate. The gas struts that hold up the rear liftgate intermittently fail and the liftgate will not stay up. This will also cause the power liftgate to engage and it will attempt to shut the liftgate while you are standing under it. The door has closed on me several times, but i have not been injured. *jb |
