| Description of the problem | The passenger side automatic sliding door has been touchy with its ability to open and close and to indicate to the car whether it is opened or closed. Yesterday, the door ceased to operate. Upon further investigation, it appears that a cable has snapped in the door and will need to be replaced. I feel that this is ridiculous for a 5 year old car. It is also very expensive, from $700 to $1800, with toyota dealers being the most expensive. |
