Description of the problem	I heard a knocking noise coming from my front right wheel area when i would go over a bump. Even when i was going very slow over a speed bump. I took it to my local repair garage and he told me it sounded like my strut was sticking. I made an appointment to have him replace my front struts. When i returned on 4/26/13 he told me that the bottom of the front right strut was broken off & that my front left strut had a crack in it & would have broken. He kept the part & showed me where it was broken & how it goes together. He said it was only the weight that was holding it on & he could not believe that it did not slide off. They check to see if this was part of a recall on the vehicle & did not find one. They recommended that i report it because it was dangerous & very rare that both struts would be effected. One broken & one cracked ready to brake. Please contact me if there is any recall on the toyota sequoia struts.
