Description of the problemI am the owner of a 2005 sequoia that i purchased new from a va dealer on 31 dec 2005; it has a rather serious drive-train related problem. After coming to a 'hard' stop, several seconds later i experience a lurch or clunk that literally feels like another vehicle just bumped me from behind. I began to apply threshold braking and the problem was minimal. Today, i had to abruptly apply the brakes, emergency vehicle crossing in front of me, however, when i attempted to accelerate this time the lurch was followed a loud thud that was measured with the speed of the vehicle. Please urge toyota to have this issue made into a recall along with the rust issues that this truck continues to have. The rust recall was limited and stopped with the 2004 models even though it is still an on going issue with this model.
