Description of the problem	When driving our 2005 toyota sequoia sr5 limited, sometimes while going straight but usually after a turn, the vehicle stability control light (little skidding car icon) flashes on the dashboard and all power is lost - you cannot accelerate. In addition, a severe grinding sound is heard, some of the time, when slowing to turn (not using brake pressure). This stalling has occurred since the vehicle was new. The dealer said it was a defective throttle body and replaced it. This did not solve the problem. Any subsequent time i asked them to check it out, they said they could not find anything wrong. Now it is happening several times a day. This past weekend, alone, we experienced this problem at least 5 times while driving. I, previously, contacted toyota corp. And their response was that they will put my information into their files, but have no reports of any such incidents. However, looking on the internet, the 2003 sequoia was recalled for this same problem. We are concerned that we are going to have a collision, due to a power loss: as when this happens, there is no way to get out of traffic or avoid other vehicles. It is a serious issue that i think toyota is aware of but does not want to address. Looking at several toyota forums on the internet, this is an issue with this vehicle for most owners. It appears that this is an issue that toyota needs to address.
