| Description of the problem | Check engine light come on. Along with 2 other lights. This has occurred over 10 to 12 times since owning this suv. Each time it is noted on my paper work no leaks found and gas cap replaced. I have spent each time on a average $578 at least for a gas cap after they have checked out the car. I even had this problem when the car was under warranty but of course no charge then. I notice other toyota vehicles have recall on this check engine lights. I think the sequoia should get included in this it is the same thing. I can only imagine how much money owners of these suvs have paid out because of this. I notice this check engine light came on after i put gas in. The light will not go off until you take in it in to the dealership who then charges you the $578 or more it simply ripping the consumer off |
