| Description of the problem | My 2004 toyota sequoia was the subject of a limited service campaign, no. Tc-13-013, for abnormal frame corrosion. A toyota dealer applied a corrosion resistant compound (crc) to the frame and underside of the vehicle on march 27, 2014. I had my car serviced in august 2015 and discovered that large parts of the frame are significantly corroded, with much of the crc no longer present on the frame. Toyota responded to my complaint on august 21, 2015 by stating that the warranty for the crc is one year and that it would not authorize an inspection of the vehicle, reapplication of the crc or replacement of the frame. The frame corrosion is documented in photographs. |
