| Description of the problem | 2004 toyota sequoia - 80,000 + miles i purchased the car new and have always maintained it well. Since new, the brake light would come on intermittently. Toyota could never find a problem. On 10/16/2009 the emergency brake exploded while i was driving. The car jerked but allowed me to continue. Once i parked the car it would not drive. I had the car towed and the repair shop said the left side emergency brake just fell apart. They had never seen anything like it before. Given the issues toyota is having, i believe this incident should be investigated. I have had my brakes replaced 3 times. |
